At Camp Earth Connection(CEC) we believe that you may share our dream of a beautiful and safe space where all children can play and learn together outside in Nature. A place that celebrates diversity and ensures that all children and families are included as both participants and in leadership and mentor roles. A place of acceptance, diversity and community. A place that teaches respect for each other and nature. This is the place that Camp Earth Connection strives to be and Village Camp is the project that started it all. With your help we will be able to offer more children and families the experience of Village Camp and other Specialty CEC Programs. Visit our Champions to see what they have to say about Village Camp and CEC programs.
Help us raise 5,000 dollars or more and we can:
Provide 10 more full scholarships to campers who do not have the financial resources to attend or transportation to travel to camp;
Provide a professional, diverse and inclusive staff to meet the needs of a diverse community;
and Ensure that facilities are safe by making necessary environmentally sound improvements. This summer we will be replacing some of our outhouses with compost toilets.
While attending a Healing Hearts Retreat at Camp Earth Connection this winter, Friend and Quilter Extraordinaire, Gwen Marston learned about Camp Earth Connection’s summer programs for children & their families, and about the camp’s commitment to raise funds to include families with children who are in financial need. Gwen decided to donate a quilt to support this effort. Gwen is a long-time quilter and author of award winning quilting books. You can learn more about Gwen and her quilting at www.gwenmarston.com
