Gwen Marston's Quilt to support Village Camp Scholarship Fund

About the Cause

This summer Camp Earth Connection will celebrate its 15th year of the Village Camp program.  In addition, in collaboration with Hammerstone Carpentry School for Women,  CEC will offer a Carpentry and Healthy Living Camp for Teen girls.  And a new effort  Project RISE (Resiliency In Spite of Everything) will also ensure that children with family members who are or have been incarcerated will receive scholarships for camp.  With your help we can continue ensuring that CEC camps can make the dream of "Acceptance, Diversity and Community"a reality.  Help us raise 5,000 dollars or more and we can:

  • Provide 10 more full scholarships to campers who do not have the financial resources to attend  or transportation to travel to the camp;

  • Provide a professional,  diverse and inclusive staff to meet the needs of a diverse community;

  • and Ensure that facilities are safe by making necessary environmentally sound improvements.  This summer we will be replacing some of our outhouses with compost toilets.

  • Together we can continue to make our dream of community a reality.

Camp Earth Connection is nestled in in the Hills of Dryden, NY and adjacent to the Hammond Hill State Forest.   Camp Earth Connection continues it's legacy of providing children and their families with a beautiful space to connect with each other and nature through summer camps, retreats and family camping.  For more information visit
